It’s been a busy few weeks for craft beer fans here in Vancouver, and this week is no exception. Today is Darby’s second Meet The Brewmaster event, this time featuring Stephan Buhl of Tree Brewing. Stephan will be on-hand to lead us through Tree Brewing’s lineup, including Black Tree on draught, Hop Head Red Ale, and featuring appetizers specially prepared by chef Alex Rotherham. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door. Included with your ticket are appetizers, a pint of Tree’s Black Tree Dark Ale, and samples of all of Tree brewing’s lineup, including the new Hop Head Red Ale.

This Wednesday is the Ocean Wise Seafood Chowder ChowDown, in which 10 chefs and 5 local breweries create seafood chowders paired with local craft beer. More info on that in the featured article.

Lastly, DIX’s yearly X-mas X-treme Caskival is just around the corner!

Cheers,
