July 1, 2pm-7pm – Parallel 49 Canada Day Patio Party – Library Square Public House

Join P49 for Craft Lager & Seedspitter for $3.00 12oz beers, as well as a BBQ featuring sausages, burgers, hotdogs, and currywurst! The P49 team will be there ready to rock.

July 3, 3:00pm – Fuggles and Warlock Keys to the Brewery Pool Party – Sportstown Tavern

Join Fuggles and Warlock as they celebrating getting the keys to their new brewery! Featuring Live Music From Chris Witoski Music, Burgers & Hot Dogs, and 2 casks!! 1 cask of Destiny IPA and 1 cask of Personas West Coast Common. Also, they will have their new collaboration with Tenaya Creek Brewery – Fuzzy Vegas” Peach Saison

July 10, 6:00pm – Pop-Up Basque Pintxos Bar

Walking into a bustling pintxos bar in the Basque Country is an experience. On the counter are dozens of beautiful small bites being enjoyed by groups of friends as they discuss the day’s events. Between bites, txakoli (a light, effervescent white wine) and sidra (an acidic and funky cider) are ordered to cleanse your palate and prepare you for the next delicious pintxo. Chef Jefferson Alvarez and Txotx Basque Imports are teaming up to transform Propaganda Coffee into a traditional Basque Pintxos Bar. Bring close friends, and meet new ones as you sip on txakoli and sidra late into the night.

July 10-12 – Port Moody Rib Fest

The Rotary Club of Port Moody in partnership with the City of Port Moody is host to the inaugural Port Moody RibFest presented by Thrifty Foods.  At this community fundraising event designed for families, proceeds from the event will be distributed back into the community through donations. Guests will enjoy live music, craft beer, and world-class, award winning BBQ

July 11 – Squamish Beer Festival

Head up for the first Squamish Beer Festival, an outdoor celebration of craft beer culture in the heart of Downtown Squamish. The Squamish Beer Festival features a selection of the some of the best handcrafted beer from craft breweries in BC and around the world. Meet the brewers, sample the latest beer and cider releases and learn about traditional small-batch brewing.

July 12 – Bridge Brewing 10K Growler Run

Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual 10K Growler Run. $35 gets you a technical shirt, finisher’s glass of beer, and the chance to win free beer for a month! Register at the brewery for the event that has runners carry 2 full growlers for 10 K (no, you don’t have to carry them if you don’t want to). Questions? July 19, 11am-5pm – Tri-Cities Summer Cask Festival – Rocky Point Taphouse

The Tri-Cities Cask Festival showcases some of BC’s finest breweries. This festival is speicalbecause all the participating breweries are from outside of the city of Vancouver. Come taste what the rest of the Lower Mainland has to offer! Tickets are $45 and include fifteen sample tokens (more tokens available for purchase), a 5 ounce tasting glass to take home, Barbecue–your choice of three delicious meals (plus vegetarian option!)and prize draws from breweries and sponsors. Limited ticket sales so don’t delay!

July 26, 1-4pm – Brewery and the Beast

A stellar line up of chefs representing restaurants from Vancouver and Whistler will prepare unique dishes using both classic and modern technique. Whole pig and lamb roasts, charcuterie, smoked meats, ethnic-inspired dishes, classic BBQ, and other full-flavored exotic foods will be showcased. Featuring beer by Phillips Brewing. Tickets are $95 and inclusive of all food & beverage tastings offered at the event

July 28. 6pm – Ninkasi Brewing Brewmaster’s Dinner – Craft Beer Market

Executive Chef Cam McGowan will create a special four course menu to pair with our brewery partner Ninkasi’s selection of beers. Each of our four courses will be designed to cut or compliment while maintaining a balance of flavours for both food and beer. Tickets are $60

July 31, 10pm – Dan Small Memorial Concert – Lanalou’s 

August 11, 2-6pm – Caskapalooza – Craft Beer Market

Get a chance to enjoy 18 casks from British Columbia and Alberta. $25 will include 12 x 4oz samples of your choice, a chance to win a day brewing your very own cask with Strange Fellows Brewing, and you will support a great cause! $5 from each ticket sold will go to support Camp Goodtimes. August 22 & 23 – Vancouver Craft Beer Cruise

It’s back! Pre-sale tickets are out now!  Join the second annual Vancouver Craft Brew Cruise aboard The Magic Spirit at False Creek, Plaza of Nations. A selection of BC’s finest craft brewers have been selectively invited to participate on this annual voyage. Two unique sailings are scheduled each day on Saturday, August 22nd at 2:00pm and 7:00pm and on Sunday, August 23rd at 12:00pm and 5:00pm. Each session will run for a “three hour tour” on the water. Tickets are $50.00  for each sailing and includes 5 sample tokens and a commemorative mug. Additions tokens are available on board. Each token is valued at $1 and redeemable for a 4oz sample from the brewer of your choice.

August 29 – Tough Kegger

Presented by Persephone Brewing Co., Tough Kegger is the world’s first adventure race with beer. Passing through rainforest trails on BC’s Sunshine Coast, teams of four race on foot over a 7km course through rugged terrain – and here’s the catch: teams have to complete the course carrying a full, 20L keg!

September 16-20 – Whistler Village Beer Festival
