CAMRA BC – Vancouver Branch AGM 2015

Elections for the 2015 executive will take place at the CAMRA Vancouver AGM on Sunday, February 22nd, 2015 at The Biltmore Cabaret, located at 2755 Prince Edward Street at the junction with Kingsway and 12th Avenue. Look for CAMRA signs to follow.

To be eligible to vote and attend the AGM in person, you must be a paid up CAMRA Vancouver member (You can join/renew at the AGM or via our membership system).

We are accepting nominations for all positions on the executive in advance of the AGM starting January 12th. It is also possible to make a nomination at the AGM.

To be eligible for election, the nominee must be a CAMRA member, willing to run for a position, and be present at the AGM. Please note: “All voting members of the BC Executive cannot be involved in the industry in a management or ownership role. Since the Branch presidents are also part of the CAMRA BC executive, the exclusion applies only to the Branch presidents as well.”

*In the event of multiple nominees we will hold a vote at the AGM. Candidates will be asked to present a quick introduction of themselves to help members make their decision.

AGM Details

Time and Date: Sunday, February 22nd, 12-3pm

Location: 2755 Prince Edward St.

Each member in attendance will receive a *bonus* 16oz sleeve of cask ale, courtesy of CAMRA Vancouver (while supplies last).  There will be a selection of cask ale, and all will be tapped at noon.

Please bring 2 forms of ID and your CAMRA membership card. Serving it right rules apply.

There will be no food truck this year but a food and beer special has been arranged at 12 Kings Pub, upstairs from the Biltmore Cabaret after.

As usual we will be giving out our CAMRA Vancouver Awards. Don’t forget to take the poll. The voting period is open between Jan 19 – Feb 6th 2015. (All members were emailed a link to vote on January 12th.)
