It is with great regret we have to inform you of the resignation of our President, Martin Williams, who has had to move on from his role of leader of CAMRA Vancouver. With this news, we are now looking for another active leader in the craft beer community to fill this very important role.
CAMRA Vancouver’s new president will be a passionate advocate for craft beer and an active member of the craft beer community, who can commit their time and energy to contributing to CAMRA Vancouver’s mandate and goals. Please scroll down for the complete job description.
CAMRA Vancouver is a non-profit society dedicated to the promotion and responsible consumption of natural, craft beers. We are a membership of microbreweries, pubs, taphouses, restaurants, specialty liquor stores, brewers and people who love craft beer.
Our goals are to encourage the appreciation and consumption of craft beer, to promote the establishment and success of quality brewpubs and craft breweries, to support home quality brewing, and to encourage the responsible enjoyment of craft beer. Currently we are engaged in promotion and education initiatives, policy and advocacy efforts, as well as producing special craft beer events.

CAMRA Vancouver President – Job Description:
- Chairs all meetings of the society and of the directors
- Acts as the chief executive officer of the society
- Co-ordinates and directs the other officers in the execution of their duties
- Represents CAMRA to members, corporate sponsors, and media
- Is the liaison with CAMRA BC and represents the branch at CAMRA BC executive meetings
- Informs the Newsletter Editor of key items that need to be communicated to members
- Communicates with other directors as needed to ensure the smooth running of the organization
- Seeks input from members, directors and corporate sponsors for ideas on events
- Leader of the Policy & Advocacy sub committee
