Granville Island Brewing offers up its full product line in support of the Stanley Park Restoration Fund

Vancouver, BC — Throughout the month of April, Granville Island Brewing, Vancouver's favourite microbrewery, will donate $0.25 from every case and $0.05 from every pint to the Stanley Park Restoration Fund with the goal of raising $50,000 based on last year's sales.  This marks the first time Granville Island Brewing has supported a community cause through their entire product line and licensees, which includes bars, pubs, and restaurants.

"The roots of Granville Island Brewing run deep throughout the Vancouver region," says Walter Cosman, Director of Sales and Marketing at Granville Island Brewing.  "When we saw the devastation to Stanley Park, Vancouver's unique landmark, we knew we had to be a part of its restoration."

Granville Island Brewing products are sold at various locations throughout BC, including the GIB Taproom and retail store on Granville Island.  Please visit www.gib.ca for a list of participating retailers and licensees.

Granville Island Brewing is an award winning microbrewery.  Since 1984, they have been dedicated to handcrafting premium beers according to the strict quality standards of the Bavarian Purity Law.  This means only four ingredients are used in the brewing process: select Canadian two-row barley malt and imported malts, the finest blend of European and Pacific Northwest hops, special yeasts and water. This guarantees that the brewery's award-winning beers are 100% all natural. Traditionally, Granville Island Brewing has named their premium products after popular landmarks in Vancouver such as, English Bay Pale Ale, Kitsilano Maple Cream Ale, Cypress Honey Lager and Gastown Amber Ale.
