Aroma: Stewed cherries, dark chocolate, some licorice notes
Tasting Notes: Dark chocolate, dried dark fruits, slight licorice, bourbon barrel-y goodness, has a bit of an alcohol belly burn, but could also just be indigestion from the Air Canada in-flight meals I “enjoyed” yesterday…
Summary: At the beginning of every year it seems like everyone is striving to stave off stagnation. And even though this high ABV brew may make you feel like sinking into your sofa and binging “Call Me Mother”, it’ll also have you looking forward to a year of really excellent Lower Mainland craft beers! 2023; I’m here for it! But, hopefully, you know, not right here, in this exact same spot… because inertia…
Would you buy it again: Yes! Great for sharing.Brewery Link: brassneck.ca
