CAMRA Vancouver Fest of Ale – Spring Sessional, April 16, 2011

Craft beer lovers, never fear! This event is far from sold out and runs all day. Starting at noon we’ll be opening the doors and allowing many more people to come in.  Ticket availability will be dependent on capacity at the time of your arrival. There is opportunity to come at various times throughout the event and sample craft beer brewed specifically for this event. Be sure to check out our Facebook and Twitter accounts during the day as we’ll be posting capacity and line-up updates.

Tickets: $10 entry fee
Available for purchase at the door, day of event
Includes 10oz tasting glass (yours to keep) and your first fill-up
$2.50 for each additional drink token or 4 for $10.

*100 pre-sale tickets were available for sale online and have currently sold out. Pre-sale ticket holders have an exclusive 11am-12pm entry before the general public with no line-ups, first sampling of all of the casks and the opportunity to witness the judging process. Please be sure to arrive between 11am-12pm. Otherwise, we can not guarantee no line-up.

This is an all day, open house style cask event, focused on “sessionable” ales in a variety of styles & featuring the Wall of Casks. Local brewers have been challenged to brew a low alcohol by volume (ABV) ale, full on taste & flavour. There will be a People’s Choice award, as well as a prize for best ale under 3.5% ABV, based on BJCP standards.

Participating breweries include Red Racer, Noble Pig, Russell Beer, Granville Island, Big River, Driftwood, Yaletown Brewing Company, Big Ridge Brewing Company, Dead Frog Brewery, Tin Whistle, Moon Under Water, BrewHouse at Whistler & many more!

During the event we will be selling CAMRA Vancouver memberships ($25/$40) and t-shirts for $22 each.
