New CAMRA BC Branch

THE CAMRA BC FAMILY IS EXPANDING

Surrey, BC – On September 21, 2013, we will see the formation of a new Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale Society of British Columbia. In light of the tremendous volume of public interest in craft beer consumer rights outside of Vancouver, the CAMRA BC branch in Surrey, Delta, White Rock, Langley, Tsawwassen, Ladner and Richmond will from this time forward be known as “CAMRA BC South Fraser Branch”. The new South Fraser executive looks forward to joining CAMRA BC’s other four branches in the promotion and responsible consumption of natural, craft beers and representing the interests of the region’s consumers.
To celebrate their inauguration, CAMRA South Fraser invites you to their launch party at Surrey’s Big Ridge Brewing on September 21at 3:00PM for casks of Real Ale from Big Ridge Brewing Company and other local craft brewers, including Dead Frog Brewery, Four Winds Brewing Company, Red Truck Brewing Company, Russell Brewing Company, The Brewhouse at Whistler and Yaletown Brewing Company. Festivities will include an Inaugural Toast, a Meet-The-Team session and raffle prizes from our supporters for the benefit of BC Children’s Charity- featuring prizes from Big Ridge Brewing and Liquor Store, Vancouver Brewery Tours and more!

Starting at 2PM on September 21, Big Ridge Brewing will operate a shuttle from King George Skytrain Station for attendees in support of their ongoing commitment to the safety of their patrons and the public. Those who wish to take advantage of this service should call (778) 938-7433 in advance to book a pickup time from King George.

It is time for change in our neighbourhood. The executive team of CAMRA South Fraser looks forward to meeting residents and supporters on September 21 and future events in support of craft beer in the South Fraser region.
