Newsletter Updates

Perhaps you noticed a big change in the newsletter this month. Here are some of the changes we’ve made and where you can find your old favourites.

Blogs
Our new website will feature a dedicated page to our local bloggers, so, for this edition, you can check out blog roll at the bottom of the front page of our website to see what’s new.

Volunteer and Job Information
We frequently post news about volunteer and job needs on our Facebook and Twitter feeds. You can always check out our webpage where we have a feed of what we’ve posted on Twitter.

Membership Update
We’ll keep you up to date with our membership number every newsletter.  In fact, we’ve just passed member #1800! As always, our full benefits list is available online

#caskalert
We don’t want to be that group that floods your feeds all the time. There’s  A LOT of places with casks now and in order to minimize spammage, all the cask info is located on our Cask Calendar. We’re constantly updating it with what casks are on, special events, and new casks locations! It’s the best way to plan your cask filled week. We will continue to retweet any tweets that use #caskalert.

Homebrew News
The new webpage will also have a dedicated area to connect you with the local homebrewing groups and stores, and will also have news from around the city. Stay tuned!

Seasonal Releases, Reviews, and Tastings
There are some hard-working people out there that are constantly tasting and reviewing beers for you lovely folks. Our new webpage will feature links to their fantastic reviews and news on what’s coming out in BC. Tastings are a difficult area to share information on as sometimes stores don’t have the info to let us know. Best to contact your local liquor store and ask when they’re having tastings. They’re not? Encourage them to do so! There’s no better way to introduce customers to new products and sell some tasty beer.

If you’re missing a section of the newsletter or have any feedback, my inbox is always open
